A patched up Oaks side made the short trip north to Burley on Saturday, with both teams winless so far this season.
Burley started strongly with a number of forays down the blind side eventually resulting in a well worked try. This opened the floodgates and the depleted Oaks were down 29-0 at half time.
The second half saw a change in fortunes and the Sheffield side were better able to keep possession and build phases. This led to yet another try for centre Callum Schofield, bringing his total to four in five games. Burley soaked up the pressure though, and eventually ran out 34-5 winners.
Oaks 1s are at home to Skipton this week as the 2s make the short trip to Sheffield 4s, both 3pm kick offs.
